Well hello there and welcome to my blog. My name is Sara and I adore food, not just eating it (although I do LOVE eating it), but creating it, shopping for it and photographing it too.

I developed my love of food as a child. I would, as many others would of their mothers, argue that it is in fact MY mum who is the best cook in the whole world. Sure Nigella Lawson’s kids might have a thing or two to say about that but my mums roast potatoes are second to none! When I was growing up my mum would create fun, healthy and delicious meals like beany shepherd’s pie, vegetable chilli and tuna fish pie (think cottage pie but with creamy tuna and mushrooms instead of mince and gravy). Now that I’m an adult my mums cooking never fails to delight and inspire me.

In addition to my mum, I am surrounded by awesome cooks; my dad’s cooking is also to die for, my best friend cooks a mean curry, my grandpa is a master at all things baked, my mum’s sister makes amazing jams and chutneys and my cousin makes this cinnamon butter that on toast could actually be heaven sent!

Throughout this blog I’m going to share this love with you, whether its places I go or things I buy or food I make; and so it is, armed with my camera, a smart phone and a laptop, that I head out on my foodie adventures, I do hope you’ll come with me?
