Hot chocolate is one of our nations favourite drinks, they serve it everywhere however finding good hot chocolate is not always easy. I am making it my mission to drink as much hot chocolate as I can to share with you the highs and the lows…. It’s a tough job but someone’s gotta do it!!
The Coffee Station, Hebden Bridge
The Coffee Station at Hebden Bridge train station is a cute little café in the old parcel office. I would recommend sitting outside if the weather is nice enough. They offer a hot chocolate called Chocolate Abyss; I had high hopes for a drink with this name but this is just a regular hot chocolate, nice enough but not outstanding in any way. 4/10
Cafe Nero, Nationwide
The hot chocolate Milano is available on practically every high street in the country in café nero stores. It is basically a liquid chocolate; it’s hot, thick, smooth, rich and topped with whipped cream and chocolate flakes. This is as close to chocolatey perfection as I think you can get. 10/10
Next time you’re in York try the Cocoa House. The clue is in the name but their hot chocolates are amazing. No going without me though!

Oooohhhhh my favourite hot chocolate isn’t even hot. It is a “Frozen Hot Chocolate” served by Second Cup a Canadian franchise. Starbucks frappaccino doesn’t even compare.

That does sound a bit lush! I normally find chocolate frappuccinos taste more of milk and ice than chocolate so it would be nice to find a good one!!
